We've been busy down at EQ Studios! Last week we had a amazing new client in the studio in the form of the very talented Pattie Allen. She is an amazing songwriter and working with her was an absolute pleasure.

We worked together to produce a demo of her beautiful ballad 'Wings of Home', enlisting the help of the superb jazz pianist Brian Dee who has performed with Peggy Lee, Chet Baker and Benny Carter - and now us!

The tune is a real heart-breaker: Pattie tells me that several of her female friends have wept when they hear the song. (Sorry, Pattie - I promise to tune my guitar next time!)

On a more personal note, I have put my name forward for nominations to the BASCA (Songwriters) Committee. If you have a vote, please do put it my way! Take a look at this page for more info -:

I feel that my background as an accountant plus my experiences with the song-writing community means I could contribute greatly and would be(hopefully!) a real asset to the committee.

Hope you've all had a brilliant week in the sunshine!
